SIS entry-ban verification & removal — Schengen & UK

Many people only find out at the border that an entry ban is recorded against them in the Schengen Information System (SIS), often even after it has expired. Without the proper certificate from the authority of the state that issued it, travel within Schengen may be blocked.

How we help

  • SIS verification — official request to the competent authority to find out whether and why your data is recorded.
  • Certificate for an expired ban — obtaining the document confirming the ban has ended.
  • Deletion or removal of the ban — requesting deletion of the record or, where the law allows, early removal.
  • Liaison with authorities until a response is received.

Timeframes and outcomes depend on each country’s legislation and the specific circumstances; every case is assessed individually.
